1. Cookies we set

knoqly_session: keeps you signed in. Set when you sign in, HTTP-only, sent only over HTTPS in production, expires after 30 days or when you sign out. The Platform does not work without it.

knoqly_gate: present only on demo builds protected by a shared passcode. Records that the passcode was entered. HTTP-only, deleted when the browser closes.

Both cookies are strictly necessary, so no consent banner is required for them. We show a short notice on first visit so you know they exist.

2. What we do not set

No analytics cookies, no advertising or tracking cookies, and no third-party cookies. We do not use pixels or fingerprinting. If that changes, this policy changes first and any non-essential cookie will ask for your consent before it is set.

3. Browser storage

The Platform uses your browser's local storage for interface preferences only, such as remembering that you dismissed the cookie notice. Nothing in local storage identifies you and nothing is sent to us from it.

4. How to clear them

Signing out deletes the session cookie. To remove everything, clear site data for this site in your browser settings (Chrome: Settings, Privacy and security, Site settings, View permissions and data; Safari: Settings, Privacy, Manage Website Data). Clearing site data signs you out and resets your preferences.
